Entries for the 2010 race are now being received and will soon be posted to the website. The race in the Main Division for monohulls looks at this early stage to be wide open with some interesting teams challenging for line honours. Similarly, The Main Division Multihulls will not have past winner Phillip Marshall skippering his catamaran Slingshot having sold the yacht to a Hobart owner. We may still see Slingshot competing but other teams will realise that Marshall's skilled team will not be together for this race.

Team Whistler is planning to be the first Tasmanian team to compete on this Australian race and the British Three Peaks race with the same teams members in the same year. They are especially keen in winning the prestigeous Tilman Trophy in both events.
