This blooger update comes to you from Coles Bay.  The committee has split in 2 and half have return to “mainland” Tasmania and made their way to Coles Bay to await the arrival of the competitors.  However, upon finding out from the Marshalls camped out on top of Mt Freycinet that there was NO wind on top of the mountain.  This does not bode well for a speedy trip to Coles Bay!  There is plenty of wind for the leading boat at this time off Eddystone Point but the further south they travel the less wind that they will get.  Thats this race for you!!!
