Well after an eventful night/morning of chasing runners up and down the mountain I can report that Deguello finished at 5.39am with an elapsed run time of 3 hours 53 minutes to win the multihull racing division.
Haphazard runners John Claridge and Charles Gunn have moved into third position after over taking Community Carbon's entire crew three minutes before reaching the summing of Mt Wellington. Summit time for John and Charles was 6.05 and for Stu Jacobsen, Travis Tremayne, Jeff Dusting, Graham Smith and Ric Pacey 6.08. The Haphazard boys were making good time down the mountain despite Johnno's obviously painful knee injury and they're on track for a three-hour run.
VisitFlindersIsland.com.au's John Cannell and John Wilson departed race control in Hobart at 5.44am and Don't Panic Racing's team of Aubrey Henricks and Doug Grubert are currently at check in.
